ChestShop is a plugin that allows you to create and use in-game shops using chests and signs. Follow this guide to set up your own shop or buy and sell items from others.
Buying & Selling from Shops
- Right-click a shop sign to buy an item.
- Left-click a shop sign to sell an item.
- If the shop has enough stock and you have enough money, the transaction will go through automatically.
Creating Your Own Shop
Step 1: Place a Chest
Put a chest on the ground where you want your shop to be.
Step 2: Place a Sign
Attach a sign to the chest or one block away (e.g., above it).
Step 3: Format the Sign
Write the following on the sign:
- First line: Leave it blank (your name will be auto-filled)
- Second line: The quantity of items to buy/sell per transaction
- Third line: The price format:
- B 10 (Buy for 10 currency)
- S 5 (Sell for 5 currency)
- B 10:S 5 (Buy for 10, Sell for 5)
- S free (Giveaway shop)
- Fourth line: The item name or ID
- Use ? to autofill the item from the chest
- Or hold the item and type /iteminfo to find its name/ID
Example Sign Setup
This allows players to buy 64 diamonds for 10 currency or sell them back for 5 currency.
